What is Juvederm

Juvederm is widely used injectable fillers commonly used to treat age-related problems. Earlier people have been using Laser skin resurfacing and other methods to plump up their skin. However, reported allergies, after effects and the costs associated with the pre-mechanisms used halted many from using these.

However, the beauty industry didn’t stop here and eventually came up with another yet non-invasive approach of skin rejuvenation calling it Juvederm.

We now have the different type of Juvederm injectables that are being used for different purposes. Let’s take a look at some of the most common Juvederm injectable fillers.

Juvederm Voluma XC– an injectable gel for deep injection in the cheek area to correct age-related volume loss in adults over 21

Juvederm Ultra XC– injectable gel for injection into the facial tissue for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds or laugh lines. It can also be used for injection into the lips and perioral area for lip augmentation

Juvederm Ultra Plus XC– injectable gel for injection into the nasolabial folds or laugh lines and  marionette lines

Volbella XC- injectable – gel used only for injection into the lips for subtle lip augmentation and correction of perioral lines
