What are Testosterone?

Talking about testosterone we will first take a look at what is testosterone? Testosterone is a hormone that plays a major role in puberty and fertility. The bodies of both men and women produce testosterone. However, men have higher levels of testosterone than women. It is because testosterone affects and influences the development of male trait characteristics in men. You should focus on one thing here. If you are noticing a single symptom alone, then it is not confirmed that you have Low Testosterone levels. But if you have multiple symptoms at the same time then you may have Testosterone Deficiency (TD). For example, if you are feeling tired and sad as well for quite some time and you can feel this is not normal, then you might consult your doctor for TD.

Another thing is that low sexual desire alone cannot confirm TD. But if you are facing low sexual desire with a decrease in erectile function and feeling sad over a while as well, then it is the time for you to consult your doctor.

There are many treatments and solutions to deal with the low testosterone level. Changing your certain lifestyle habits may help to increase the testosterone level. The following are some solutions to increase Low Testosterone levels. 

Through Exercising

Resistance exercises like weight lifting temporarily increase testosterone levels. But the ratio of this change is typically much higher in younger men as compared to older men. 

The cardiovascular exercises which lead to weight loss can help to increase the testosterone levels as well. It is affecting for obese people. 

Using Testosterone Boosters

There are some supplements introduced in the market which are under the claim that they are “testosterone boosters”. There isn’t enough research done on these supplements to ensure their effectiveness.

It is given in the form of pills, a gel that you have to apply to your skin, patches and even in the liquid form which you have to inject in your body. It increases testosterone levels. It helps to eliminate the symptoms causing Low-T.
